The Produce of the Season
In New York, we have unpredictable weather and starkly different seasons. Many farms will supplement their produce with products that are out of season here in New York but have been shipped in from other states with warmer and milder climates.
Because those products must have been treated with chemicals to survive their shipment to New York, Sunscape Farms will not offer shipped-in products. We are committed to a quality, nutritious product without chemical preservatives, so we willl grow produce for you that is beautiful, healthy, and in-season. However, that means you can't expect strawberries in September.
